About us
For several decades, Lovers Canal Cruises has been the market leader in Amsterdam canal cruises. Our fleet consists of more than 45 (mostly electric) boats, in the traditional Dutch colour orange! A beautiful colour that you will not forget anytime soon. Our fleet has been modernised a lot in the last few years, with an emphasis on energy neutrality, individual seats and an audio system with more than 19 languages (including Dutch, English, Spanish, but also Hindi and even Chinese, for example).
Available packages
We are glad to be able to offer you the best options and quality/price ratio for your group. Our 1-hour cruise departs from various locations in the city centre, from early in the morning to late at night (9:00 am - 10:00 pm) and, on request, also privately for groups. Since our boats are equipped with tables, you can also choose for a cruise including catering.
We have collaborations with, amongst others, Meinders catering and New York Pizza. Together with our team on the quay, they know exactly what it takes to provide you with a fantastic cruise. For example, we provide the following packages:

SAIL Amsterdam 2025
We will offer several different packages during SAIL Amsterdam 2025.
SAIL-IN
On Wednesday 20 August 2025, 50 tall ships from all over the world will sail into Amsterdam along the Noordzeekanaal. An entry parade of no less than 12 kilometres. A fantastic event not to be missed. The entourage of the SAIL-IN is unique. From a boat, you can almost touch the ships. The huge windjammers with the sailors in the yards. The SAIL-IN is led by the Clipper Stad Amsterdam.
SAIL-IN 2025 Amsterdam promises to be an extraordinary maritime experience, with majestic sailing ships heading towards Amsterdam. SAIL-IN 2025 is an event not to be missed. From the reception location near Amsterdam Central Station, we will sail through the North Sea Canal towards IJmuiden before sailing back to Amsterdam alongside the Tall Ships.

We depart in the direction of IJmuiden. Thousands of boats make their way to the departure point. From our boat you will have a wonderful view of the various boats in front and alongside us.
11.00
We arrive at the starting point. From here we guide the tall ships to Amsterdam. This is the busiest and most enjoyable boat parade you will experience in your life. You will sail along in this unique Sail-in Parade
12.30
We serve a delicious lunch during this unique cruise.
14.00
We slowly approach Amsterdam. While enjoying a snack and drink, we slowly sail towards the final location.

We are back at our home port

SAIL Drinks & Bites
SAIL Drinks & Bites offers an excellent opportunity for a social gathering on the water. Whether you want to entertain friends, colleagues or business partners, this informal evening cruise is the perfect setting. It offers an opportunity to enjoy good times, tasty bites and refreshing drinks. From the reception location near Amsterdam Central Station, you will cruise straight into the nautical heart of the event and be surrounded by the magic of SAIL Amsterdam 2025.

SAIL-OUT
On the final day of SAIL 2025, the impressive Tall Ships leave the port of Amsterdam. During this closing ceremony, thousands of fans will wave goodbye to the ships and their crews. Sail with the ships during this spectacular exit from Amsterdam to IJmuiden aboard one of our boats across the North Sea Canal. Of course, we will also bring you back to Amsterdam.

We cast off and sail towards the IJ River. Around 14:30 the Sail-Out Parade will start. The tall ships leave the IJ harbour one by one and sail up the North Sea Canal, accompanied by an armada of ships. You will sail with your company in this fantastic ‘Sail-Out Parade’. Snacks and drinks will be served on board.

We will dock again at our departure location near Amsterdam Central Station.
